A set of refreshing dry wine and mellow red wine.
Carl Wente, who immigrated from Germany in 1849 as one of the "49ers" during the California Gold Rush, purchased 19 hectares of land in Livermore Valley and founded Wente Winery in 1883. Even during Prohibition, the winery was permitted to produce wine for Mass, and has been known as "America's oldest continuously family-run winery" for over 120 years.
Chardonnay: This Arroyo Seco Chardonnay is described as a natural fruit. The juice obtained on the lees is aged in barrels for 12 months, giving it a green apple aroma followed by a graham cracker-like aroma.
Cabernet Sauvignon: Aged for 18 months in French and American oak, the Cabernet Sauvignon used in this wine comes from Chateau Margaux, and the plum and berry flavors are complemented by the silky tannins of Petit Verdot, creating an elegant style.
