Kiriko refers to mentaiko (spicy pollack roe) that has lost its shape or broken during the manufacturing process of mentaiko intended for gifting. Since its taste and quality are exactly the same as gift-grade mentaiko, our "grainy texture" that Kanefuku prides itself on is highly popular as it can be enjoyed at a more affordable price and in a larger quantity.
